DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensure that Cebu Pacific's Mission and Vision are achieved through the attainment of approved Department objectives.
  • Promote and ensure compliance to quality, safety, security and customer service standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation of policies and procedures with basis not limited to certifications where Cebu Pacific / Ground Operations subscribes to, operational requirements, products & services development.
  • Collation and update on regulatory statutory requirements.
  • Cascade information on established documented policies and procedures with methods not limited to dissemination of memorandum, briefing to Ground Operations, checklists, etc.
  • Coordinate with other departments/sections and ensure new policies and procedures are documented and coordinated for Ground Operations handling.
  • Coordinate within Ground Operations, other departments, external entities as applicable and with authorities when necessary is in place for both normal and contingency operational plan.
  • Help in facilitating documentation and implementation of IATA Operations Safety Audit (IOSA) in Ground Operations.
  • Assist in maintaining Airport Services Operations Manual (ASOM) and Cargo Operations Manual (COM). Ensure alignment with other CEB Manuals and effectiveness of provisions to operations and outsourced providers.
  • Assist in documentation of policies and procedures with basis not limited to certifications where 5J/Ground Operations subscribes to, operational requirements, product and services development.
  • Formulate and recommend changes in the standards/processes within Ground Operations with the end-view of improving the over-all performance of the group.
  • Help ensure effectiveness of internal communication in regards to standards and procedures by methods not limited to issuance and dissemination of memorandum and conducting orientation to Ground Operations personnel on the requirements of the standards.
  • Ensure that proper coordination between departments concerned is in place for both normal and contingency operational plan with regards to policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with all concerned and other departments including but not limited to Quality Assurance for Ground Operations and Inflight Services with regards to audit findings which affects policies/procedures; and to complete compliance on agreed corrective/preventive action as applicable.
  • Formulate and recommend procedural improvements as technology and innovation are adapted by the department.
  • Provide inputs and coordinate with the Systems and Training group in the improvement of training modules as part of dissemination of policies and procedures.
  • Conduct researches to update ground operations handling in any changes on technology, methods, governmental requirements, dangerous goods, guests needs, etc.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Manager – Standards


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Graduate of any 4-year course.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Excellent computer skills esp Excel and PPT
  • With experience on process improvement functions and Airline/Airport operations experience is preferred
  • Has training for SCOPE, Safety Management System Training, AVSEC, ISO 9001 are an advantage.
